The Alberta Sand Gravel Association is active throughout the province of Alberta. Currently, the Association is involved in the following committees, programs and initiatives:

  • - Aggregate Extraction from River Valleys Committee
  • - Eagle Point/Blue Rapids Board of Directors
  • - Environmental Assessment and Reclamation Security Review Committee
  • - Land Use Framework, review and engagement
  • - Mine Financial Security Program
  • - Red Deer County Environmentally Significant Areas
  • - Silica Dust review (Alberta Chamber of Resources and AB Government)
  • - Timber Damage Assessment Committee
  • - Woodlands County: Pride Valley Steering Committee

AENVW Application Review Timelines Accepted Practice

The Alberta Sand and Gravel Association participated in the review and development of the Application Review Timelines Accepted Practice for the Code of Practice for Pits.
